Hamell was a riot and Ani - she rocked of course (all glowing and happy now that she is a Mummy). But ... oh ... Andrew Bird is just prodigiously, astoundingly, squealishly good live. We saw him last night at Koko in London. It's so hard to describe how good Andrew Bird is .... but it's got a lot to do with the way he crafts his songs in front of the audience - creating strange little bites of song that melt into harmonies that weave all together into something very good.
He's also rather versatile.
